Can AI help with Biodiversity?

Can AI help with Biodiversity? Well, we've been working on something exciting...

Our team has partnered up with some of the leading researchers and experts to support their critical research using our innovative robotic systems, with AI capabilities, to advance their research on the Earth’s Biodiversity.

With our robots having the ability to be deployed remotely, and for an extended distance, they’re ideal for researchers to use and reduce environmental impacts, time taken for the research to be carried out and the safety of the operation.

Synovate’s engineering director, Simon Langdale, gave his opinion on the study:

“Ecologists are increasingly calling on the help of robotics and automated systems (RAS) experts to monitor the state of global biodiversity. The project shows just how crucial robotics can be in helping to monitor the planet's biodiversity so that measures can be put forward for protection and preservation. It’s a real privilege that our work in robotics could help support biodiversity sustainability.”
